sometimes the cleaning staff is a little... how you say... lack luster in my office building. this is the garbage can beside my desk. i stopped using it after a while when i realized that nobody was emptying it. for those of you who may be reading this in canada - it has been a long time since "roll up the rim" was around, but there it is in plain view (i won a muffin, by the way - visible to the left). Posted by Picasa

what me worry?

for some reason when i saw this picture the first thought that ran into my mind was Alfred E. Newman. apparantly other people think that too

feels like bacon today.

i think the ozone layer fell out today. it's one of those days where it doesn't seem hot unless you're in the direct sunlight, but then when you are it feels as though you're losing a layer of skin every thirty seconds.

i think i hate visio

i don't think there are a lot of applications that i hate more than microsoft visio. especially when you get some shit-hole org chart diagram sent by an executive who doesn't know how to use it. i think that microsoft would probably make a ton of money off the MS Office suite if they release an executive edition - you know what it would be, all the butt-wipe applications - PowerPoint, Visio, Project. and it would have fucked-up non-functional versions of Excel and Access that could only do pie charts.

oh, and if by some weird chance you wanted to be notified whenever i post dumbass pictures and redneck links - fill in yer info here

hot indy action

one of the things i dig most aboot summer is the fact that all of the kids are out of school. now, i know what you thinking - they make the rest of the world (grocery shopping, the mall) absolute hell, but there's one very important oversight that most people make and that is that the traffic is reduced to a much less painful amount.

now there is one royal pain in the ass - the molson indy. three days of fast formula one cars racing through the streets of downtown toronto, thereby blocking off one of my major routes home. but what can you do eh?

** text removed **.

and bid on my ebay auction. if somebody wins it, it'll be my first item to sell. mario lemieux is tired and hungry - he needs a new home.

one day i will rule that building

every day for the last five years i have looked out the seventh (or ninth) floor window and been completely baffled by the building across the street. the company is extremely large - probably even international - and very (very) famous and I have absolutely NO idea what it is that they do. i suppose at some point i could have internetted it to figure it out, but maybe that's part of the lure. maybe that's why i come to work every day. one of these days i will use my telepathic pychokinetic mind link to invade the brain of some unsuspecting employee and extract the company's vital information, exposing the sweatshop labour contained within making my airwalk shoes.

or maybe i should just look it up. Posted by Picasa

wet ass

yesterday it rained an entire ass-load on my way home. despite the thought of light appearing in the upper left, it's just a myth. nothing but crazy rain and bad traffic.

and the odd stink of wet commuter. Posted by Picasa

somebody should bid on my mario lemieux cards. he rules, and there's awesome cards in the lot - 5 of them total. and if you end up paying more than like $20 for it i may even throw in that Darth Maul mug for free. Posted by Picasa

this is my steering wheel.

i don't know what that white mark at the top is. it's just been there for ages. this shot gives you a great view of the horn, which is small and lame. Posted by Picasa

the redneck games

this is awesome. almost a hundred thousand people attended the redneck games. the record holder of the bobbing for pigs feet contest was quoted as saying.. "there ain't many people who want to stick their head in a tank of water and get a raw, frozen pig's foot out of it, after what they've been walking through."

"got the trees in my mirror so my car won't smell"

for some reason, the trees that i got for my car smell like watermelon. apparantly you're supposed to leave these things in the bag as they hang from your rear view as well to make it last longer. now my car is watermelon fresh. Posted by Picasa

sometimes the crappy quality of my camera makes for a decent picture. well, i liked this one anyways. Posted by Picasa

cards anyone?

i'm trying to clean out attic space and get rid of my student loan debt, so i'm calling out to all of you out there right now to spread the news to anyone you may know who may be interested.

i will be over the next few weeks starting to sell my old hockey and baseball card collection. What do i have you ask? here are some highlights - most cards are in mint condition (though anything before 1986 is more likely to be near-mint condition).

- 1980 Wayne Gretzky - 2 of them (2nd year)
- lots of Mats Sundin rookie cards (three or four, score american and canadian, o-pee-chee)
- Grant Fuhr rookie card
- Mario Lemieux rookie card (this one's not in the best condition, but worth having just to say you have it)
- Steve Yzerman rookie card
- Brett Hull rookie card
- Wayne Gretzky 1988 "traded to LA kings" card (the one where he's holding up the jersey
- Michael Jordon's Baseball card
- Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card
- Lots of Eric Lindros rookie cards
- Bo Jackson (football and baseball)
- lots of Sergei Fedorov - central red army and NHL
- Joe Sakic, Ed Belfour
- John Olerud, Joe Carter
- Mark Messier 2nd and 3rd year
- Patrick Roy rookie
- Jaromir Jagr rookie
- Ray Borque rookie

Tons of full sets too - most hockey sets from 1989-1992, pretty much all brands (o-pee-chee, upper deck, score canadian and american). and lots of Rookie and Traded sets from the major baseball manufacturers from the late 80's/early 90's

so again, if you collect sports cards or know someone who does - hook them up with my email - untastic@gmail.com. I'd like to do the selling through ebay since i just signed up and don't yet having any rating so if you email me i'll hook you up with a "Buy it Now" link.

thanks big time.
